A No-Kill All Breed Dog Rescue

Matsu and Nessie suffer from an immune disorder.

Matsu

Matsu and Nessie suffer from a genetic immune disorder that causes painful calloused growths on the pads of their feet.

In addition to the tests, bloodwork and medication already tried, diagnostic tests continue to be necessary in order to find a treatment that will allow these special girls to walk without pain.

The vet expenses for these two pups continue to rise as we search for a solution and diagnosis.

About Misty Creek Dog Rescue
Founded in 1998 as a no-kill shelter, Misty Creek Dog Rescue is one of many volunteer-run shelters in Western Canada shouldering the burden of the thousands of animals who are abandoned, abused or surrendered every year. Misty Creek Dog Rescue takes in dogs from pounds, reserves, other shelters and voluntary owner surrenders providing them with medical care, vaccinations, and behavioural training with the aim of finding them forever homes. Because of the strict no-kill mandate, dogs may stay at the shelter for years until they are successfully placed with a suitable family. Working closely with foster home volunteers, they have saved over 2300 dogs.
