Guiness Needs a Foster Home!
Guiness is currently in Calgary and is in need of a foster home to take care of him. Guiness is a great dog that is good with other dogs and kids, he knows how to site, is walking well on a leash and is crate trained. He really needs a foster home as soon as possible. When you foster with Misty Creek Dog Rescue we provide everything you will need to take care of the dog, we also help you train, teach and work with the dog. Founded in 1998 as a no-kill shelter, Misty Creek Dog Rescue is one of many volunteer-run shelters in Western Canada shouldering the burden of the thousands of animals who are abandoned, abused or surrendered every year.
Misty Creek Dog Rescue takes in dogs from pounds, reserves, other shelters and voluntary owner surrenders providing them with medical care, vaccinations, and behavioural training with the aim of finding them forever homes. Because of the strict no-kill mandate, dogs may stay at the shelter for years until they are successfully placed with a suitable family.
Working closely with foster home volunteers, they have saved over 2300 dogs.
