Jose and Bernie
Meet the Shit zu’s! Their names are Bernie (the larger one), and Jose (the smaller one). Bernie is the more out going, likes kids and cuddles and will go outside easily when prompted. Walks on a leash, and generally enjoys being around the people in his home. He wears the red sweater in the above pictures. Jose is the more timid and shy of the two. He does like to play with other dogs and loves toys! He wears the green sweater.
These two are both neutered males, adults and need to be adopted together.

Babe
Babe is a 2 year old Retriever type, spayed female. Absolute sweetheart. Loves kids and all other animals. Very low key and easy to have around. Loves car rides. Brought in as a stray.

Spike is a 5 year old Neutered Male. Large mixed breed, looks like possibly some great dane to get the height. Very friendly, cuddly, good with kids and other dogs, he is an all round great dog! Came from the Calgary Humane.

Bowie is a 2 year old neutered male,mixed breed. He is very friendly and loves to cuddle people. He is a rather stocky dog. He is good with other dogs and really wants a forever home!

Basomi
Basomi is a 2 year old mixed breed, spayed female. Medium sized. She came up from a high kill shelter in LA. Calm but still playful girl, seems very nice. She is a big cuddler! Bessie was returned to us. She is fearful and needs a home that will make her feel safe and protected. She would do well with another dog.

Ben is a 5 year old male, neutered, that has spent most of his life living on his own without a home or family. He is a shepherd rotti cross and is a very sweet boy. This big boy came all the way from the North West Territories looking for his home. He is good with most dogs, not so good with cats and tips the scale at about 100lbs.

Chelsea
Chelsea is a 2 year old, spayed female, Shepherd mix. She is very cuddly and sweet. Chelsea is house trained and learns new things very fast, she has a good start on her manners already. She will play well with resident dog but is not fond of dominant dogs. Chelsea is an active dog, she has a slender build and is not too large.

Patches and Penny
Patches and Penny are 8 yr old poodle x sisters. Tiny little girls, who are best friends! Both these dogs are wonderful little companions that need a forever home willing to adopt them together. They are house trained, great in the kennel and very loving. These girls are quiet sweet little pups who are looking for their forever home together!

This is Patience. He is a 3 year old Border Collie, neutered male. He would really like a forever home, He is real sweet, just a little shy. But loves to sit in your lap and give kisses ♥ His owner was about to be evicted if he didn’t give the dog up. He loves the offleash park and playing fetch! Good with kids and other dogs.

Apollo
Apollo is about 1 year old. He is currently a Misty Creek dog looking for his forever home. Apollo is a very large neutered male. Likely a Lab cross. He is an easy going guy who has settled into life in a house with ease. He is good with other dogs, loves people, is a little shy at first but warms fast. Apollo is a beautiful chocolate colour and very handsome boy!

Fuzzy
Fuzzy is a neutered male, about 8 years old. He was found as a stray in kallispell and brought to Calgary. He is great with other dogs, good with kids, good in his kennel, and a pretty laid back old guy. A nice friend for someone looking for a lower key dog to spend there days with.

Disco
Disco is a German Shepard cross, about 1 year and has come to us from the Cardston pound. He is very gentle and easy going, but needs some leash work. He is pretty good overall with most dogs, just not great with dominate ones. He is ok in his kennel but needs a foster home!

Sherman
Sherman is a Male Border Collie x Lab 2 years old. Gorgeous big boy. Was surrendered to the Calgary Humane and has sinced moved to a foster home with Misty Creek. He seems a little nervous at first but warms up pretty quick.

Pebbles
Pebbles is a 6 year old, spayed, female, miniature pinscher. She is a very cute girl who loves to cuddle be around her people! She is good with other dogs and cats. She also walks well on leash and off leash. Pebbles would prefer a calmer household as she tends to be a bit jumpy/nervous.

Bowser
Bowser is a three year old neutered male Rottweiler Shepherd cross. He came to us from a shelter in the NWT where he was surrendered by his owner. He gets along very well with kids and other dogs, but does show aggression towards cats.
He is housetrained and enjoys spending time outside playing in the yard. We are working on the crate training, beginning with a dog run which he is comfortable with.
Bowser is a big gentle giant who needs a family who has plenty of space and time for him. Bowser has been returned to us and is now searching for his forever home once again…
