Cherry
Cherry is a two year old terrier cross from LA. She is spayed, loves kids, and is good with cats and other dogs. She is quite small (approx. ten pounds) and is quite calm. She can also be very playful if you get her going. She loves to cuddle and sit in your lap and is generally very quiet.

Freddie
Freddie is a big shepherd mix. He is a lovely boy that was found running out by Cochran, he is neutered and friendly, likes kids and other dogs and is good with cats. He knows some tricks and is quite active. He is about a year old.

Ceecee
Meet Ceecee. Super sweet and quiet girl, but still with lots of bounce in her. She loves kids, but can be a bit bouncy around little ones. Good with other dogs and walk well on a leash. Ceecee is a bully breed and a terrier mix, we think she is a year old. She is only mid sized and has a wire coat.

Scout
Meet Scout! He is a very gentle dog. Good with kids, very well behaved, Just a sweet dog to be around. He is a golden retriever mix, mid sized, neutered male. He is approx 2 years old.

Tazz
Tazz is a 4 year old Newfie x Lab, neutered male. Big gentle guy who loves everyone. Loves to play fetch and knows lots of tricks! Make anyone a great family pet. He is about 100lbs though, so an active home would be best.

Tonka
Tonka is a Neutered Male, Australian Shepherd, 1 year old. Tonka came to us as a stray from Barnwell. Tonka has a lot of energy! He loves to play outside, especially with other dogs. He has enjoyed his trips to the fenced, off leash dogpark. While he can be a little rocky at first with other dogs, he quickly warms up to them and plays. He’s very fast and loves to run. When he first came to us, his favorite activity was to flip his food dish over and play “soccer” with it. He’d do well with someone that understands and has done there homework on the breed. Tonka is a smart pup and needs mental stimulation to keep him busy. He is working on his leash work and basic obedience.

Rhea
Rhea is an 8 year old Australian Cattle dog crossed with Hound. She is spayed, house trained, knows lots of commands, and is good with kids, cats and other dogs. She is a large dog (about 75lbs). She can be a little shy with men, but warms up fast. She is a typical heeler and likes to run, play and herd. She plays fetch, and does well on and off leash. Rhea is an owner surrender.

Say hello to Geoffrey! He is a 10 years, neutered male. We pulled him from a high kill LA shelter. Geoffrey is a super cute Pomeranian. Quiet small and very friendly.

Leo
This is Leo, he came to us from the Calgary Humane Society. Leo is a 2 years old, neutered male German Shepherd. Good with other dogs and friendly, no cats. Leo is a nice boy but needs to go to a home that understands his breed. He would be best in a home that is experienced with German Shepherds.

Jeffrey
Jeffrey is a neutered male, that was left tied to someone’s fence with a bag of dog food nearby and a note that said “my name is Jeffrey”. That person kept him a couple weeks but was moving and could not have pets, so she turned him into us. Jeffrey is quite shy initially but quickly warms up to people. He enjoys his time out in the yard exploring and sniffing everything. He walks fairly well on a leash. He’s mostly quiet and has not had an accident in his kennel with us. Jeffrey is about a year old, looks like a golden retriever mix.

Meet Ares! He is a 1 year old German Shepherd, neutered male. He is house trained, friendly and a great dog to have around. Ares would do best as the only dog in the home. He came to us as an owner surrender as his former owner was moving.Ares is at our shelter and need a foster home. Aiko and Arizona
Meet Aiko and Arizona, two Chocolate Labs that bylaw found running in Barons county. Aiko is about 2 years old and Arizona three, they look pure bred but we can’t be sure. They are however very friendly and happy dogs that need to go to a home together. They are the very best of friends and we want them to stay together. They are good with other dogs, and they love people! Both are fixed, healthy, large dogs with lots of playful energy.
