We have an exciting contest starting tonight! Please enter, all the money raised will go towards vet bills and bettering the lives of the dogs in our care.
For anyone who donates $25 or more your name will be entered to win one of our awesome Gildan hoodies with our logo and German Shepherd on the hood!!
For every ten donaters we will do another draw for another hoodie.
We retail these hoodies for $50. We will also be sneaking in another surprise with each winning hoodie from our shopping page on our website. New Fee Explanation
Due to the ever climbing cost to care for all the dogs that come through Misty Creek Dog Rescue our adoption fees have increased. This will also eliminate any confusion surrounding the difference between dogs that are neutered/spayed and puppies that are not.
Our New Fees:
All dogs will now cost $375 plus gst to adopt.
All dogs that are over the age of 6 months will continue to be spayed/neutered before adoption.
All dogs under the age of 6 months will be spayed/neutered and microchipped at Misty Creeks expense and will be included in your adoption fee. Any other costs associated with the surgery will be the adopters responsibility. This must be done at 6 months. The adopter is responsible for booking the appointment, however, it must be done at Fish Creek Veterinary Hospital

Please join our clinic in helping out 3 Alberta rescues!Starting November 24th we will be excepting all donations: money, food, toys, beds, blankets, towels, leashes etc. We will have 3 bins set up in the front of the clinic; one for each rescue: ARF, AARCS and Misty Creek. You can choose your rescue or you can divide your donation between the three. There are calenders, jewelry, cook books and lots of other items you can purchase that would make great stocking stuffers and benefit individual rescues.
Without rescues like these so many animals would be abandoned on the streets or euthanized, so please help us help these wonderful rescues who so kindly take in these unwanted and/or abused animals.

Happy Birthday Lenya and Thank You!
This year for her birthday, Lenya gave Misty Creek Dog Rescue a wonderful gift. Instead of presents she wanted to honour of her best furry bud Shiloh (a MCDR puppy originally called Quatchi). Lenya asked her friends to bring donations for Misty Creek. She raised $53.50 together with an interactive dog toy, leash / collar combo and treats. A huge thank you from the pups at Misty Creek to Lenya and Shiloh! And a very Happy Birthday!
It makes us very proud to know there are great kids like Lenya caring for our dogs!
AUG 7 ADOPT-A-THON
Misty Creek Dog Rescue is having an adopt-a-thon!!! Come out and meet some of the wonderful dogs we have available for adoption and foster. We will have volunteers on site to assist you with questions or concerns, plus a wide verity of merchandise to buy and support our dogs in need of homes. Pawsitively Natural has been kind enough to offer us their facility for this event. They are located at 1313 16 Ave SW, Calgary. The adopt-a-ton will run from 11am to 4pm and we plan on having many dogs present. Please come show your support and help us find them all fur-ever homes!

Pet Expo is a 2-day consumer tradeshow that is open to the public. At the show you will find hundreds of pets, pet products, service providers, entertainers, clubs and organizations that cater to pets.
Misty Creek Dog Rescue will have a HUGE display with many of our dogs and puppies looking for forever homes. We will also have many items for sale, such as jewelry, clothing, toys, treats, and much, much more! All proceeds go back to helping the many animals who are abandoned, abused or surrendered every year.
