Fuzzy
Fuzzy is a neutered male, about 11-13 years old. He was found as a stray in kallispell and brought to Calgary. He is great with other dogs, good with kids, good in his kennel, and a pretty laid back old guy. A nice friend for someone looking for a lower key dog to spend there days with.

Disco
Disco is a German Shepard cross, about 1 year and has come to us from the Cardston pound. Disco knows how to sit, shake a paw, is housebroken and great in his crate. He is good with cats and children, and LOVES attention! He is very gentle and easy going, but needs some leash work. He is pretty good overall with most dogs, but he does much better with females than he does males. Disco likes to chase tennis balls and loves to chew bones. He is still waiting for his forever home to come along.

Fiona
Princess Fiona, is soooo sweet! She can be a quiet shy at first but once she knows you she is just a little doll! Fiona is aprox 3 years old. A Miniture poodle mix. Spayed/microchipped female from LA. She is easy going, LOVES people, great with small dogs and cats. She does not like big dogs and would not do well in a home with a dog bigger than her.

Deputy
Deputy is a male, about 1 year old, Coonhound. He is neutered and fully vaccinated. Deputy was found running along the highway in Montana. He is very shy and nervous, avoids other dogs and is impartial towards cats. He is a very sweet dog though and follows people around like a shadow, he is also GREAT in his kennel.

Shayla
Shayla is a sweetie! Very small and delicate she is a little princess. She is a 5 year old chihuahua cross. She is spayed and healthy. She seems indifferent to other dogs and loves her people. She loves to be picked up and snuggle close to keep warm.

Pebbles
Pebbles is a 6 year old, spayed, female, miniature pinscher. She is a very cute girl who loves to cuddle be around her people! She is good with other dogs and cats. She also walks well on leash and off leash. Pebbles would prefer a calmer household as she tends to be a bit jumpy/nervous.

Rico
Rico is so cute! He is 2 years old and a gets along well with other dogs. He sleeps in the bedroom with the foster home’s three other dogs, and is paper trained. He is putting on weight. He was 6 lbs when he came here. He is a small dog who may likely only reach 8-10 lbs. Rico is a playful young dog who enjoys playing fetch. He is cuddly and needs attention from people. He is a good boy and only plays with the dog toys – NOT distructive. Rico is the BEST dog.

Jake is a 4 year old Registered Catahoulas, male. Lovely dog and came to us from a divorce situation.
He has been very loved and very well looked after. He seems good with other dogs, cats and loves kids.

Cristal is a 3 year old Chihuahua x Daschund, spayed female. Very playful girl. Likes kids and most other dogs. She came to us form a high kill shelter in California.
Cristal is in our shelter and would love to be in a foster home in the Calgary area. Consider fostering a dog for Misty Creek.

Thunder is a three year old Mini Daschund, neutered male. He was surrendered with his brother Lightning. Great little guy, good in the house, loves kids, scared of cats and good with other doggies.

Mango is a one year old Corgie, neutered male. Mango came to us from a Montana reserve where he had been living in a trap since being caught. He is a great little guy who is friendly with cats, dogs and kids.

London is a 6-7 year old German Shepherd, spayed female. She came to us from a Montana reserve where she had been trapped and left in the cage until someone would come for her. If someone had not gone to get her, she would have been shot. Definitely want a home with Shepherd experience and someone who knows this breed. She becomes very bonded to her owner. Is ok with other dogs but would do better as the only dog.

Odie is a 4 year old neutered male lab/border collie cross. Odie was returned to Misty Creek and is now looking his forever home. Odie is an active dog, great with other dogs & cats. Dallas is a 2 year old Black Lab mix. He loves to play with his foster brothers and is very gentle and loving. He’s great in the house and fully house trained. He knows simple commands and is learning quite fast. Dallas is a big boy with lots of love to share, he went to the Doggie groomer’s last week and did extremely well. He walks on his leash with pride and will do great in a home with older children and other dogs.

Nicki
Nicki is a five year old spayed female Husky/German Shepherd cross, approximately 60 lbs. She lived in a home with 2 adults and 2 cats, and was surrendered because they were moving to no pet housing. Nicki is house trained and walks nice on leash. She also loves to play fetch all the time. She interacts well with the two resident dogs and is very calm and friendly with the resident kids.
She also knows lots of commands: Sit, Down, Come, Shake, Rollover, Fetch, Speak, Go long, and Stay left (on a bike)

Tess
Tess is a 4 year old female spayed Shih Tzu who came in to Misty Creek as an owner surrender. Her previous owners felt they did not have enough time for this sweet soul.
She is a tiny little girl with a big heart. She really likes cats and gets along with every dog she has encountered so far. Tess is excellent with a 2 year old, and seems to love all people in general. Her favorite are people who want to hug and pet her. She really LOVES her people and loves to be held and cuddled.
She adapts to her surroundings extremely quickly and is excellent on the leash. She likes to be carried and to snuggle on the couch in her spare time.
She has been freshly groomed where she became a favorite right away in the shop. She has spent a day at doggy daycare where she played very well with others. For a small dog she is very calm even around the two resident large black labs.

Bella
Bella is a 1 year old female Labrador Cross who came back to Misty Creek as an owner surrender. She is a very friendly and fun loving dog. She loves daily walks and needs positive activities to keep her busy. She loves kids, almost too much sometimes, and can frighten kids who are not used to big dogs.
