Babe is a 2 year old Retriever type, spayed female. Absolute sweetheart. Loves kids and all other animals. Very low key and easy to have around. Loves car rides. Brought in as a stray.

Basomi
Basomi is a 2 year old mixed breed, spayed female. Medium sized. She came up from a high kill shelter in LA. Calm but still playful girl, seems very nice. She is a big cuddler! Bessie was returned to us. She is fearful and needs a home that will make her feel safe and protected. She would do well with another dog.

Carley
Carley is a 3 year old lab mix. She came from the Kalispell Animal Shelter from a backyard breeder who was forced to surrender her dogs due to the severe ill health of all of them. Carley came to the shelter with deformed front leg which was broken in puppy hood, had healed improperly and was left to drag as she walked. She was bred like this for the remainder of her time with the previous owner. The Kalispell shelter amputated her leg to give her an opportunity to move without hindrance and she blossomed into the ball-loving, people-adoring pup she is now! Her mobility is amazing, she navigates flights of stairs, can jump on the couch and runs like the wind. Carley is crate trained, 99% house trained, walks great on leash and is amazing with cats and dogs. She is easy to correct and responds well to her name, praise and pets. Because of her history she tends to find comfort and safety in specific spaces of the house, most likely due to being confined in her previous life and takes a bit of coaxing to move outside of her comfort areas. Carley would be a great addition for any home considering a second dog or for a home without other animals.

Caylee
Caylee is a Chihuahua puppy, about 8 months old. She is the only female from the litter that came from LA. She is a real cuddler, and loves to be held and pampered. She is very shy at first but once she warms up to you she is a real sweetie!

Chelsea
Chelsea is a 2 year old, spayed female, Shepherd mix. She is very cuddly and sweet. Chelsea is house trained and learns new things very fast, she has a good start on her manners already. She will play well with resident dog but is not fond of dominant dogs. Chelsea is an active dog, she has a slender build and is not too large.

Lilo
Lilo is a sweet little girl, about 12 weeks. She is a Chihuahua and is going to grow into a small dog. She is the sister to Hondo. Both are active, playful little pups that seem to get along well with everything. They are curious youngsters and very sweet!

Patches and Penny
Patches and Penny are 8 yr old poodle x sisters. Tiny little girls, who are best friends! Both these dogs are wonderful little companions that need a forever home willing to adopt them together. They are house trained, great in the kennel and very loving. These girls are quiet sweet little pups who are looking for their forever home together!

River is an 8 month old Lab x, female. She was found tied to a post with a sign that said “save me” and a box of toys. She is a very sweet girl that is currently learning the basics of training.

Mirage
Mirage is an 8 month old Shepherd x. She has been patiently waiting for a foster to teach her some stuff. She is quite well mannered for a pup and loves your attention! A very sweet girl that came in as an owner surrender. She would love a home to call her own. She is good with other dogs, loves people and going to be a large dog when she is full grown.

Tillie
Tillie and her siblings were found on the reserve, cold and hungry. She is a female, and healthy.
Tillie is a 8 week old border collie cross puppy. She is the smartest, most independent and most outgoing of the litter. She likes to explore and is starting to ask to go out to the bathroom. She is also the most vocal of the bunch. Tillie was the first to climb the stairs and is the only one so far that has figured out how to jump the 1’ crate that blocks her in the kitchen. Lux
Lux and her siblings were found on the reserve, cold and hungry. She is a female and healthy. Lux is a 8 week old border collie cross puppy. She didn’t get the nickname ‘Princess Lux’ for nothing. She is a quiet dainty puppy but will put up her dukes if her sister comes around and can pin her brother in a puppy fight easily. She still cries when separated from her siblings or when she gets stuck climbing up the stairs but is happy as a clam once you pick her up. She knows to go to the bathroom outside and will go once you put her down. To watch her in action, check out her blog

Nevada
Nevada is a a large, mixed breed puppy. She is very active and while she is working on her manners she is still learning. She is healthy, up to date on shots and roughly 4 months old. Nevada is good with other dogs, she is also house-trained, but as a puppy still needs to be let outside consistently. She is a very smart little girl, and picks up on things very quickly

Fiona
Princess Fiona, is soooo sweet! She can be a quiet shy at first but once she knows you she is just a little doll! Fiona is aprox 3 years old. A Miniture poodle mix. Spayed/microchipped female from LA. She is easy going, LOVES people, great with small dogs and cats. She does not like big dogs and would not do well in a home with a dog bigger than her.

Kayro is a mixed breed puppy. She really likes her bones and chew toys and plays very nice with my 2 dogs. She doesn’t do too bad either. She is a really good girl hasn’t chewed up anything in my house

Shayla is a sweetie! Very small and delicate she is a little princess. She is a 5 year old chihuahua cross. She is spayed and healthy. She seems indifferent to other dogs and loves her people. She loves to be picked up and snuggle close to keep warm.

Anna is a female border collie x 1 year old. She is very shy and a little fearful at the beginning but once she gets to know you she warms up fast. She is good with cats and other dogs. And would do best in a home with another dog. She is super sweet but needs a lot of confidence building. She will try to climb right into your lap for attention and loves to be petted.

Pebbles
Pebbles is a 6 year old, spayed, female, miniature pinscher. She is a very cute girl who loves to cuddle be around her people! She is good with other dogs and cats. She also walks well on leash and off leash. Pebbles would prefer a calmer household as she tends to be a bit jumpy/nervous.

Diamond
Diamond is an elegant three year old white and brown female Alaskan Husky who was found near downtown Los Angeles on August 25th and brought to Misty Creek Dog Rescue’s shelter when she was due to be put down after no one adopted her. Weighing forty pounds, Diamond walks well on leash, sits on command, and stands quietly for grooming. She loves people and belly rubs, and seems to be fine with other dogs. With startlingly beautiful blue eyes and a low to medium energy level, Diamond will be a perfect indoor pet for an individual or family living in a private home.
