Harvest Hills Vet Clinic is Hosting a donation and fundraiser for animal rescues in Alberta, including Misty Creek. Please come out, drop off donations, purchase merchandise and support your local animal shelter this holiday season!

Please join our clinic in helping out 3 Alberta rescues!Starting November 24th we will be excepting all donations: money, food, toys, beds, blankets, towels, leashes etc. We will have 3 bins set up in the front of the clinic; one for each rescue: ARF, AARCS and Misty Creek. You can choose your rescue or you can divide your donation between the three. There are calenders, jewelry, cook books and lots of other items you can purchase that would make great stocking stuffers and benefit individual rescues.
Without rescues like these so many animals would be abandoned on the streets or euthanized, so please help us help these wonderful rescues who so kindly take in these unwanted and/or abused animals.

Misty Creek Dog Rescue will be at Pawsititvely Natural on Sunday Nov 20, 2011, from 11am to 4pm. Many of our dogs looking to find there furever homes will be present and we will have adoption and foster forms available. We will also be selling our fundraising items and have volunteers on site to answer any questions you may have.

Rico and Nikki desperately Need Vet Care!
Misty Creek Dog Rescue desperately needs your help to care for two dogs!
Rico (a yorkie cross) is not feeling well and currently on IV fluids!
Nikki (a husky cross) had a run in with a porcupine and needed vet care to remove all the quills!
Misty Creek Dog Rescue will provide these dogs with all the care and attention they need but the cost of this care is very high. Please consider donating to Misty Creek so we can continue to provide dogs in need with all the medical care they require. 100% of your donation will go to providing for the dogs we rescue.
Large or small we put every donation to use bettering the lives of the dogs in our care. If you can help, please consider making a donation – every penny helps.
Saturday Join Misty Creek and Pawsitively Natural for a Mini Adopathon
This Saturday Misty Creek Dog Rescue will be joining Pawsitively Natural at their booth along 17th Ave (right by Mount Royal Village). We will be there along with a few of our dogs to meet and greet, talk about adoption and volunteer opportunities and answer any questions.
Misty Creek Dog Rescue will be there from noon until 5pm.
There is plenty to do along 17th so stop on by and say hello and maybe meet your new furry best friend!

Surgery For Kenley
Kenley is a Siberian Husky X that has been diagnosed with Entropion and requires surgery on both eyes.
Entropion is a medical condition in which the eyelid folds inward. It is very uncomfortable, as the eyelashes constantly rub against the cornea.
As this is a painful condition, we have gone ahead and scheduled Kenley for surgery. Our shelter operates primarily on donations to provide homeless dogs with the medical care they need.

Local artist Joseph Ross has donated this acrylic on canvas painting called Abstract Flowers unframed 80 x 100 cm. The edges are not painted as the artist recommends framing but he will paint the edges in a solid colour if desired.
