Carley
Carley is a 3 year old lab mix. She came from the Kalispell Animal Shelter from a backyard breeder who was forced to surrender her dogs due to the severe ill health of all of them. Carley came to the shelter with deformed front leg which was broken in puppy hood, had healed improperly and was left to drag as she walked. She was bred like this for the remainder of her time with the previous owner. The Kalispell shelter amputated her leg to give her an opportunity to move without hindrance and she blossomed into the ball-loving, people-adoring pup she is now! Her mobility is amazing, she navigates flights of stairs, can jump on the couch and runs like the wind. Carley is crate trained, 99% house trained, walks great on leash and is amazing with cats and dogs. She is easy to correct and responds well to her name, praise and pets. Because of her history she tends to find comfort and safety in specific spaces of the house, most likely due to being confined in her previous life and takes a bit of coaxing to move outside of her comfort areas. Carley would be a great addition for any home considering a second dog or for a home without other animals.

Bob is approx 3-4 yr old lab x.He is such a good natured boy. He is good with other dogs, kids and cats. He is house trained and very calm inside. He is very eager to please and is highly food motivated which makes learningRiver
River is an 8 month old Lab x, female. She was found tied to a post with a sign that said “save me” and a box of toys. She is a very sweet girl that is currently learning the basics of training.

Rowan is a 1 year old Lab x who is looking for a forever home. He is a great boy, good with other dogs and very willing to please! Easy going and a real joy to be around, think about this handsome balck boy if you are looking for a nice medium dog to join your home.

Apollo
Apollo is about 1 year old. He is currently a Misty Creek dog looking for his forever home. Apollo is a very large neutered male. Likely a Lab cross. He is an easy going guy who has settled into life in a house with ease. He is good with other dogs, loves people, is a little shy at first but warms fast. Apollo is a beautiful chocolate colour and very handsome boy!

Fuzzy
Fuzzy is a neutered male, about 8 years old. He was found as a stray in kallispell and brought to Calgary. He is great with other dogs, good with kids, good in his kennel, and a pretty laid back old guy. A nice friend for someone looking for a lower key dog to spend there days with.

Sherman
Sherman is a Male Border Collie x Lab 2 years old. Gorgeous big boy. Was surrendered to the Calgary Humane and has sinced moved to a foster home with Misty Creek. He seems a little nervous at first but warms up pretty quick.

Kennedi
Kennedi is a 4 month old Lab x, female. She was also found with Roper and tied with a chain. She is a happy girl, a little scared. We found out recently that owner was not very nice to her at all. Not much of a surprise since they moved and left their animals behind to fend for themselves.

Bella
Bella is a 1 year old female Labrador Cross who came back to Misty Creek as an owner surrender. She is a very friendly and fun loving dog. She loves daily walks and needs positive activities to keep her busy. She loves kids, almost too much sometimes, and can frighten kids who are not used to big dogs.

Bob is a four year old male lab cross rescued from the pound. He loves to rip around and play. He is good with cats and others dogs. He really like going for walks and is very loyal.

Parker
Parker is an eight month old Pit Bull x Labrador neutered male. He was rescued with Demonex Mange by another shelter and has recently joined the Misty Creek pack. He is in a foster home with other young dogs and loves everyone.

Easter
Easter is female Akbash / Lab X approx. 1 year old. She is a well behaved dog, best suited for a single dog household. Easter is crate trained and housetrained; loves to go for walks and we are working on her leash training. She loves to play fetch & tug-o-war and enjoys car rides! No small dogs or cats; No small kids as she does jump. Doesn’t dig or jump fences; loves to be outdoors. X-large dog that needs a lot of room to run.
