Moose
Moose is a huge, male coonhound, about a year old. Lovely goofy boy with a typical hound nature. He has tons of energy and needs a home with someone looking for a large, active buddy. He is a big beautiful dog, neutered and up to date on shots. He has settled in well in his foster home and loves all the people he meets. He is good with most dogs, especially if they want to play with him!

Apollo
Apollo is about 1 year old. He is currently a Misty Creek dog looking for his forever home. Apollo is a very large neutered male. Likely a Lab cross. He is an easy going guy who has settled into life in a house with ease. He is good with other dogs, loves people, is a little shy at first but warms fast. Apollo is a beautiful chocolate colour and very handsome boy!

Josh
Josh is a neutered male, about 2 years old. He came in from Kallispell and is looking for his forever home. He is super easy going, great with other dogs and cats and LOVES people!

Fuzzy
Fuzzy is a neutered male, about 11-13 years old. He was found as a stray in kallispell and brought to Calgary. He is great with other dogs, good with kids, good in his kennel, and a pretty laid back old guy. A nice friend for someone looking for a lower key dog to spend there days with.

Finn
Finn is an awesome 5 month old. He has the goofy, happy personality of a Golden and the smarts of a collie. He’s crate trained, almost housetrained, great with dogs, good with cats that are good with dogs, good on leash and corrects easily. He knows sit, lay down, go pee. He’d be a great second companion to a like minded playful adult or equally good in a no dog family that can give him lots of attention.

Disco
Disco is a German Shepard cross, about 1 year and has come to us from the Cardston pound. Disco knows how to sit, shake a paw, is housebroken and great in his crate. He is good with cats and children, and LOVES attention! He is very gentle and easy going, but needs some leash work. He is pretty good overall with most dogs, but he does much better with females than he does males. Disco likes to chase tennis balls and loves to chew bones. He is still waiting for his forever home to come along.

Zoro
Zoro and his siblings were found on the reserve, cold and hungry. He is a male and healthy. Zoro is a 8 week old border collie cross puppy. He will cry when separated from his sisters and is struggling most with potty training but he is a super sweet boy who loves his cuddles. Deputy
Deputy is a male, about 1 year old, Coonhound. He is neutered and fully vaccinated. Deputy was found running along the highway in Montana. He is very shy and nervous, avoids other dogs and is impartial towards cats. He is a very sweet dog though and follows people around like a shadow, he is also GREAT in his kennel.

Sherman
Sherman is a Male Border Collie x Lab 2 years old. Gorgeous big boy. Was surrendered to the Calgary Humane and has sinced moved to a foster home with Misty Creek. He seems a little nervous at first but warms up pretty quick.

Rico
Rico is so cute! He is 2 years old and a gets along well with other dogs. He sleeps in the bedroom with the foster home’s three other dogs, and is paper trained. He is putting on weight. He was 6 lbs when he came here. He is a small dog who may likely only reach 8-10 lbs. Rico is a playful young dog who enjoys playing fetch. He is cuddly and needs attention from people. He is a good boy and only plays with the dog toys – NOT distructive. Rico is the BEST dog.

Leo
Leo is a loving five year old white Lhaso Apso / Pekingese mix who was rescued after being left in the car on a very hot day by his former owners on August 28th and brought to Misty Creek Dog Rescue’s shelter whne he was due to be put down. Weighing thirteen pounds, Leo walks well on a leash and is just a bundle of love. He enjoys sitting in your lap and being pet. He is great with all people and other dogs. Leo is a plug and play dog and would be a perfect family dog. Leo will be a perfect indoor pet for anyone in any living situation.
