Bert
Bert is a 2 year old neutered male. He is a mid sized lab mix with a very sweet, laid back attitude. He likes kids and other dogs and is ok with cats. He has some seperation issues but is otherwise a very lovely dog. Came to us from a high kill shelter in LA.

Tonka
Tonka is a Neutered Male, Australian Shepherd, 1 year old. Tonka came to us as a stray from Barnwell. Tonka has a lot of energy! He loves to play outside, especially with other dogs. He has enjoyed his trips to the fenced, off leash dogpark. While he can be a little rocky at first with other dogs, he quickly warms up to them and plays. He’s very fast and loves to run. When he first came to us, his favorite activity was to flip his food dish over and play “soccer” with it. He’d do well with someone that understands and has done there homework on the breed. Tonka is a smart pup and needs mental stimulation to keep him busy. He is working on his leash work and basic obedience.

Joey
Joey is a six month old Australian Shepherd mix, on the smaller side of medium. He is neutered, and is a very active dog. He is learning his manners and doing quite well in a home. He is super friendly, but can be a little nervous in new situations. He seems ok with other dogs and loves to be with people. Joey rides well in a car.

Spring
This is Spring, she came to us from the North, and is a two year Shepherd mix. She is medium in size and good with kids and other dogs. She is a lovely and happy dog.

Maria
Maria made the long journey all the way from Mexico with her sister to get a better life here in Calgary. She is a beautiful little ten week old puppy. Likes other dogs, people and cats. Her and her family were street dogs, so she is still learning life in a house but is coming along really well. She will likely be a medium sized dog.

Navajo
This is Navajo, 6 week old female collie cross. She came in with siblings Mohican(Mo) and Tahoe. She came to us from the NWT. She is the runt and the only female and should be between 40-60lbs and super cute and sweet!

Terryl (Scruffy)
Terryl is from the last spay/neuter clinic in hobbema (july 28th weekend). He is about two and is neutered. He is house and crate trained, and great with kids and other dogs. He loves people, and attention and is an all around great medium sized Shepherd mix.

Holly
Holly is a 1 ½ years Female Spayed Rotti/blue heeler cross – and a sweetheart! She can be nervous in new situations. Holly needs someone that can give her time to warm up and help her build confidence. Once she settles in she is a wonderful dog. She would probably do best in a home with no really small kids. She is really active once she gets to know you, so she needs someone that wants to be active with her.

Sal
Sal is a 2 year old husky mix, male, and only medium sized, he is super friendly, happy and a wonderful dog. He is well behaved, good with other dogs and kids and like to go for runs and walks. He does jump fences but with supervision and training will stop.

Kukla
Kukla loves everyone. She is some type of bully and terrier, pretty small. She came to us from the pound and would love a home where she can cuddle up with people and be the center of attention. She is good with cats, dogs and kids.

Tank (Ozzie)
Tank is a medium sized (about 65lbs), neutered male, about three years old. He is black blended in with golden brown, and up to date on shots and rabies certified. He is house trained, doesn’t chew furniture, listens very well, and does well with kids and dogs. He loves to play with other dogs, and has lots of energy. He enjoys car rides. He is shy with new people but when he warms up to you he is very affectionate and loving. Tank was originally adopted from us as a puppy and was unfortunately returned due to allergies developing in the new child.

Shia is a 4 year old female, spayed. She is a shepherd and shetland mix. She was adopted from us as Ariel. She is a wonderful dog and only medium in size.

Austin
Austin is a 9 year old male, neutered, and very low key. He is a dashhound x shepherd mix and is on the small side of medium. He has spent most of his time outside, but has learned to love the indoors too. He is good with other dogs, cats and loves people! He is house trained, walks well and loves to just hang with his people.

Yoshi
Yoshi has come back to Misty Creek due to changes in his owner’s life. He is a 2 year old, neutered male. He is the smaller side of medium, and likely a collie cross. Yoshi is a very well behaved and healthy boy, he has even gone through the Clever Canine’s training course. He is house broken, crate trained, good in the house and knows his basic commands. He is an active dog, good with other dogs and kids.

Coco is a 1.5 year old Pitt bull mix, spayed female. She is good with other dogs, ok with cats, likes people and kids. She can to us from a shelter in Idaho.
