Freddie
Freddie is a big shepherd mix. He is a lovely boy that was found running out by Cochran, he is neutered and friendly, likes kids and other dogs and is good with cats. He knows some tricks and is quite active. He is about a year old.

Troy
Troy 20 months old German Shepherd Male – This guy is a big goof. He was surrendered due to allergies. He is very playful and with training and a great owner, he’s going to be a great dog. He knows some basic commands but is quite unsure in situations.

Tonka
Tonka is a Neutered Male, Australian Shepherd, 1 year old. Tonka came to us as a stray from Barnwell. Tonka has a lot of energy! He loves to play outside, especially with other dogs. He has enjoyed his trips to the fenced, off leash dogpark. While he can be a little rocky at first with other dogs, he quickly warms up to them and plays. He’s very fast and loves to run. When he first came to us, his favorite activity was to flip his food dish over and play “soccer” with it. He’d do well with someone that understands and has done there homework on the breed. Tonka is a smart pup and needs mental stimulation to keep him busy. He is working on his leash work and basic obedience.

Pompey
Pompey is a nine month old Chihuahua cross. We pulled him from a high kill shelter in LA. He is a small dog, very friendly and loves to cuddle.

Joey
Joey is a six month old Australian Shepherd mix, on the smaller side of medium. He is neutered, and is a very active dog. He is learning his manners and doing quite well in a home. He is super friendly, but can be a little nervous in new situations. He seems ok with other dogs and loves to be with people. Joey rides well in a car.

Geoffrey
Say hello to Geoffrey! He is a 10 years, neutered male. We pulled him from a high kill LA shelter. Geoffrey is a super cute Pomeranian. Quiet small and very friendly.

Leo
This is Leo, he came to us from the Calgary Humane Society. Leo is a 2 years old, neutered male German Shepherd. Good with other dogs and friendly, no cats. Leo is a nice boy but needs to go to a home that understands his breed. He would be best in a home that is experienced with German Shepherds.

Jeffrey
Jeffrey is a neutered male, that was left tied to someone’s fence with a bag of dog food nearby and a note that said “my name is Jeffrey”. That person kept him a couple weeks but was moving and could not have pets, so she turned him into us. Jeffrey is quite shy initially but quickly warms up to people. He enjoys his time out in the yard exploring and sniffing everything. He walks fairly well on a leash. He’s mostly quiet and has not had an accident in his kennel with us. Jeffrey is about a year old, looks like a golden retriever mix.

Meet Ares! He is a 1 year old German Shepherd, neutered male. He is house trained, friendly and a great dog to have around. Ares would do best as the only dog in the home. He came to us as an owner surrender as his former owner was moving.Ares is at our shelter and need a foster home. Kodiak is a 10 to 12 week old, male, husky x shepherd puppy. He will grow up to to be a large, active dog. He is a healthy, friendly puppy that arrived from the NWT with his brother Polar.

Costello
Meet Costello! He is a puppy from the Northwest Territories, he came down with his brother Abbot. He is a black Labrador mix, possibly collie. He will grow up to be a large dog. He is currently about 6 months old and very playful! He likes other dogs and people and is learning about crate training and home life.

Panda is a lovely chill little dude, really sweet and loves everyone. We he is about 2 years old and a Japanese Chin mix, he is small and a neutered male.

Rambler came in with off the reserve from a spay and neuter clinic. He is a healthy and happy boy, medium sized, and a little shy when he first meets people but he warms pretty quick. He looks a shepherd cross.

Terryl is from the last spay/neuter clinic in hobbema (july 28th weekend). He is about two and is neutered. He is house and crate trained, and great with kids and other dogs. He loves people, and attention and is an all around great medium sized Shepherd mix.

Vinnie is a 7 month old Ridgeback x, neutered male. Came to us from a high kill LA Shelter. Great with other dogs and kids. Loves to play fetch!

Munky
Munky is 4 months, a Male, neutered, Border Collie Cross – Munky is a very confident, sweet boy. He is full of energy and needs someone that can keep up with him and his training. He is very smart and gets along with the other dogs in the home. He will need home that can keep him busy and social but also give him plenty of love.

Foster (aka Hank)
Meet Foster (offically Hank), he is an adorable 6 month old Pointer/Griffon mix. He is a very happy, playful but still laid back kind of pup. He is medium now and will grow to be a large dog. He is great with other dogs, especially ones he can play with and loves all people big or small. He loves car rides and playing in the backyard. He is learning his manners and going to be a very smart boy.

Beethoven
Beethoven is a six month old mixed breed male, maybe with some Akita in him. He is neutered and up to date on shots. He looks like he will grow into a mid-large dog. He originally came off the reserve and went to the Humane society for a couple months. He is really shy at first and needs someone that will be patient with him, but he is learning about life in a home. He seems quite good with cats and dogs.
