Kennedi

Kennedi

Kennedi is a 4 month old Lab x, female. She was also found with Roper and tied with a chain. She is a happy girl, a little scared. We found out recently that owner was not very nice to her at all. Not much of a surprise since they moved and left their animals behind to fend for themselves.

Adopted into a forever home.

Roper

Roper

Roper is a 10 month old Collie x, male. Super sweet guy, very playful! Roper was left behind by his owners when they moved. He was left tied to a deck for over a week before anyone even realized.

Sparky

Sparky is a 6 month old spayed female, small to medium sized yellow Labrador Retriever cross. She came to us from a high kill shelter in the US.  Sparky is super enthusiastic and expresses it with a lovely little bounce.  She is very affectionate and likes to cuddle or lay her head in your hand or lap.  She is good with other dogs and has been good with the children she has met.  She is crate trained and house trained and will share toys and food.  She knows “sit” and is working on “come” but her real passion is retrieving and dropping the ball at your feet.  She also likes a good swim and will get her ball out of any water.

Mario is a 10 month old neutered male Yorkie Shih Tzu cross.  Mario came to Misty Creek as an owner surrender. He’s a shy little guy who would benefit from another small canine friend to guide him through life. Nama

Nama is an eight month old Australian Shepherd cross, spayed female. This litter of five came to us as an owner surrender from a farm in northern Alberta. They were not socialized and were obviously kept in close quarters as they are happy “dog piling”. In just a few days with us, each pup has shown huge improvement and are enjoying their foster homes.

Although she is the biggest of the two females, Nama is definitely NOT the bravest. She is very uneasy of new places and people, but once she decides you are ok, she wants so much LOVE she can barely contain herself. Very sweet natured, and also very smart like her sister Maaki.
