A No-Kill All Breed Dog Rescue

Bach

Bach is an eight month old Australian Shepherd cross, neutered male. This litter of five came to us as an owner surrender from a farm in northern Alberta. They were not socialized and were obviously kept in close quarters as they are happy “dog piling”. In just a few days with us, each pup has shown huge improvement and are enjoying their foster homes.

Bach is a sweet heart.. doing great in his new foster home. Bach has learned quickly that most people are nice and so are their other animals. Bach is very smart but also very calm. He looks to you often for guidance as to what to do next and has lots of energy and is learning how to PLAY. Beautiful markings.

Maalek

Maalek is an eight month old Australian Shepherd cross, neutered male. This litter of five came to us as an owner surrender from a farm in northern Alberta. They were not socialized and were obviously kept in close quarters as they are happy “dog piling”. In just a few days with us, each pup has shown huge improvement and are enjoying their foster homes.

Maalek has the most markings of all his brothers, with a beautiful silver mane and spotted nose. He is handsome, but shy. Maalek is coming along nicely in his foster home learning to be on a leash and working on Crate training, Maalek is soon to get a wonderful grooming and is learning how to eat right. He has bonded nicely with his foster family and like his other litter mates, he is extremely smart!

Baba

Baba is an eight month old Australian Shepherd cross, neutered male. This litter of five came to us as an owner surrender from a farm in northern Alberta. They were not socialized and were obviously kept in close quarters as they are happy “dog piling”. In just a few days with us, each pup has shown huge improvement and are enjoying their foster homes.

Baba is by far the largest of the litter weighing in at almost 30 kg!! This boy needs to loose some weight. His foster home has been working very hard with him and he is now doing well on a leash, great with house training and in general just learning how to be a dog. He is super submissive and so sweet.Baba is also very smart and will make an excellent dog for an active person or family.

Nama

Nama is an eight month old Australian Shepherd cross, spayed female. This litter of five came to us as an owner surrender from a farm in northern Alberta. They were not socialized and were obviously kept in close quarters as they are happy “dog piling”. In just a few days with us, each pup has shown huge improvement and are enjoying their foster homes.

Although she is the biggest of the two females, Nama is definitely NOT the bravest. She is very uneasy of new places and people, but once she decides you are ok, she wants so much LOVE she can barely contain herself. Very sweet natured, and also very smart like her sister Maaki.

Maaki

Maaki is an eight month old Australian Shepherd cross, spayed female. This litter of five came to us as an owner surrender from a farm in northern Alberta. They were not socialized and were obviously kept in close quarters as they are happy “dog piling”. In just a few days with us, each pup has shown huge improvement and are enjoying their foster homes.

Maaki is the smallest of all her brothers and sisters and perhaps the bravest. She was the first to come out of her kennel and the first one to approach anyone. She is still getting used to human affection and can be a bit “standoffish” But she does want and seek affection… just not too much! She is smart as a whip and VERY eager to please. She wants to learn!
